BBA has been appointed to design the four-storey Flagship Boutique in Ginza, Tokyo. The key element of the interior design project is the repetition of wooden listels, used to disarticulate the spaces and making their borders disappear. The intention is to recreate a environment that dissolves into its boundaries and that follows the vertical rhythm of the wooden stripes as well as the horizontal use of the light, which convey a sense of spatial immateriality. Each detail of the boutique has been throughly researched by BBA, paying great attention to materials and proportions, and has been engineered in collaboration with the Loro Piana Technical Office so to guarantee an high aesthetic value.
